Wayne Newton Parks Useless $2 Mil Private Jet In Own Front Yard.

Has Wayne Newton gone to the birds?

According to employees at the Oakland International Airport, Wayne -- who left his private plane to rot after repairs became too expensive -- finally paid the aircraft's mounting storage fees last month and had it shipped to his famous Casa de Shenandoah estate in Las Vegas.

We're told the plane had to be disassembled to make the long haul from Michigan to Nevada -- but it has since been put back together ... and now resides in the yard of Wayne's Las Vegas estate for all to see.

Movie Characters Most Emulated By Guys Visiting Las Vegas

Article by Todd Worz

10.  Raoul Duke(Jonny Depp) from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas:

No matter what age, race or class, some people will step away from their “normal life” and partake in “extra-curricular activities” to keep the party going 24/7 while in Las Vegas.

9.  Ben Sanderson(Nicolas Cage) from Leaving Las Vegas:

Parallel to #10, most guys will drink well beyond their means while visiting Sin City and some will likely fall in love with an “entertainer” and use the phrase “I need a vacation after leaving Las Vegas.”

 8.  Nick Papageorgio from Vegas Vacation:

It really doesn’t matter if your “of age” or just a Vegas Virgin, everyone knows someone that has had incredible dumb luck gambling in a Las Vegas casino for the first time.

7.  Rusty Ryan(Brad Pitt) from Ocean’s Eleven:

He’s the guy that has it all under control in Vegas. The detail man, a pro at pretending to be someone else and is the person that everyone else turns to for help or advice.

6.  Trent(Vince Vaughn) from Swingers:

I’ll admit, after 10 years of living in Las Vegas, hearing someone shout “VEGAS BABY, VEGAS!” is still funny and exciting…in moderation. But I caution all to end it there. You’re not “money” and no one gives a rat’s ass about the Rain Man Suite anymore.

5.  Alan(Zach Galifianakis) from The Hangover:

Ok, maybe you’re not this guy, but you definitely have one in your circle of friends. He’s the fun loving, somewhat quiet guy, that just wants to best friends with everyone and doesn’t get away very often. He’s completely harmless, until he secretly spikes your drink with a date rape drug.

4.  James Bond from (pick one):

Really no need for explanation here, just watch the clip.

3.  Cousin Eddie:

"I haven't seen a beatin' like that since somebody stuck a banana in my pants and turned a monkey loose."
If you’ve ever taken 30 seconds to people watch while in Vegas, you might find yourself wondering if there is a factory somewhere that churns out Cousin Eddies by the millions.  Whether you see them walking the world famous Boulevard, in the casinos with a yard of Margarita or in the mirror...they're out there.

2.  Sam “Ace” Rothstien(Robert DeNiro) Casino:

Listen to me very carefully. There are three ways of doing things around here: the right way, the wrong way, and the way that DeNiro did it. You understand?  Every guy wants to think he's "connected."  There isn’t a man alive that wouldn’t want to do Vegas like Ace. Minus the, getting blown up in your car thing…

1.  Elvis Aaron Presley:

The man lived a life of unmatchable opulence and his impact on this city can be seen everywhere. Undoubtedly, EVERYONE at some time or another has mimicked Elvis, stated they “have left the building,” exclaimed “Viva Las Vegas” or muttered low and slow…”Thank you, thank you very much.”

3 Steps to Avoiding Long Lines at Las Vegas Clubs

So you've decided to head to Vegas for a 3 to 4 day bender of hell-bent furry?

We like your style...

Bypassing the crazy lines at Nightclubs and Pool Parties in Las Vegas is all about planning ahead. The most important element to any nightlife destination is the crowd. Nightclubs strive to have an eclectic mix of people. Varying styles, status and culture is the recipe for a successful party.

  1. Dress the part: Vegas has some of the most over the top parties on the planet.  Millions upon millions of dollars have gone into delivering a truly unique experience for both Nightlife and, most recently, Daylife.  Your attire should reflect the stature of the venue you're attending. Simply put, this means no T-shirts on guys at night and no basketball jerseys to the pool.

Top Cocktail: Passion-Politan

Cosmos have become a joke in the cocktail world, all thanks to pop culture, but fortunately, mixologists are still discovering new ways to reinvent this classic. The Passion-Politan by Alex Straus of Suite 700 at the Hotel Shangri-La in Los Angeles features rose syrup to commemorate the season of blooming flowers, as well as champagne for some bubbly. Orange liqueur gives the Passion-Politan a much-needed refreshing punch and passion fruit-infused vodka makes it the perfect sweet treat for tropical-themed parties. You don’t need to be Carrie Bradshaw to look fabulous with a Passion-Politan!

0.75 oz. Orange liqueur
0.75 oz. Rose syrup (We used Moninn)
0.5 oz. Lime juice
Rose champagne
1 Rose petal

Preparation
Combine all ingredients except champagne in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Add champagne, stir, and strain into a martini glass. Float the rose petal on top of the cocktail for garnish.

Star sightings: Lady Gaga does Las Vegas

Yesterday, August 16, 2010, 1:42:20 PM
Matt Donnelly
Sin City met its match this weekend as Lady Gaga stopped in Las Vegas to perform at the MGM Grand.

"Gambling and inappropriate attire to ensue," the Lady tweeted of her arrival, "why am i so jealous of strip club stage production[?]"

Perform she did, in a stop on her Monster Ball tour, followed by some major partying at Tao Asian Bistro. Gaga rolled deep with security and friends, "parading through the restaurant in sky-high heels and poufs of lace, with lace veils covering her face," an onlooker said.

The party dined on sushi and sashimi with vegetable dumplings, enjoying the local Vegas flavor -- yet Gaga didn't forget her New York City roots. In the house celebrating his birthday was Tao co-founder Noah Tepperberg (the nightlife guru runs celeb-fave venues including NYC's Avenue), whom she sent a bottle of champagne to mark the occasion.

A more conventionally dressed pair also did some celebrating at Tao as well -- engaged actors Dave Annable and Odette Yustman shared an important rite of passage ...
