Steve Wynn Continues To Rock Las Vegas Nightlife

Vegas tycoon Steve Wynn has flexed his muscles once again, this time releasing Encore Beach/Surrender Managing Partner Bob Mancari.  Surprising news following a busy Labor Day weekend.

Bob Mancari has been a notable personality in Las Vegas for many years, both as a successful casino executive and a nightclub dignitary.  His clientele list boasts names like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Charles Barkley, just to name a few.  No details have been released as to why this decision was passed down.

Over the past two weeks, Mr. Wynn has bought out nightclub partner Victor Drai, 86'd Paris Hilton form all of his properties and parted ways with two of his top-level nightclub executives.

MGM Lion Attacks Trainer in Las Vegas

What happens when an adult male lion asks for a late check-out and doesn't get one?

Something like this...(video)

Thankfully, the trainer in the video escaped with a just few stitches, but something tells me that this story is far from over.
Maybe the MGM should stick to displaying lion CUBS?  They are cuter to look at and a lot easier to handle.

Would You Pay To Speed In Nevada?

"Like my job isn't hard enough?"
Much like a "Get Out of Jail Free" card, one candidate for Nevada State Governor is proposing a $25 fee that would allow drivers a 24-hour speeding pass.
Candidate Eugene "Gino" DeSimone thinks that this is the answer to the state's budget crisis, while State Troopers argue this idea would cause a safety crisis of its own on Nevada Highways.
Leadfoot drivers would first have to pass a vehicle safety inspection and be fitted with a transponder before being able to purchase the right to speed up to 90 mph.

HAPPY BIRTHMONTH Jack Daniels!!

We understand you probably forgot.
But it's September again and this signifies the birth month of Jasper Newton Daniels...better known as "Jack."

Truth is, NOBODY remembers the exact day he was born, thus starting a tradition of a party that lasts 30 days.

To honor him, a 160th Birthday cocktail has been created by the folks here at NightlifeLeader.com.
A cocktail worthy of a refined taste, such as yours, to share with your family and friends over the next few weekends.

How to prepare:

Grab a rocks glass(clean or dirty...it doesn't really matter)
Add three fingers of Jack Daniels

We tried to come up with a name for it, so we handed a few to some friends and got a fairly unanimous response.

It's called..."You're an Asshole."

Paris Hilton Blacklisted By Las Vegas Nightclubs?

Let's get real people.

The latest headlines will tell you that her partying days in Las Vegas are numbered.  They quote "industry executives" as stating "Considering she’s busted for cocaine, people might assume that she’s going to the club either to use coke or she’s already on coke, and no club wants to be associated with that.”

Turning Paris Hilton away from a nightclub on suspicion of using or possessing cocaine will happen the same day Ben Roethlisberger gets turned away on suspicion of being a creepy drunk around women.

It's likely that Paris will lay low for awhile, as most celebs do.  But rest assured, she will not miss the next big media covered party, arriving clean and sober to blow kisses to the cameras and show that she is a changed person.

Marcus Jordan: Tweets About What Happens In Vegas And Spurs Investigation.

Apparently Marcus Jordan was busy tending to his High School studies, a couple years ago, when the "What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas" campaign went national.  Or maybe they should have been more specific and said "ohhh, and you have to be of legal age!"

Michael Jordan's 19-year-old son, Marcus, tweeted Aug. 20 about spending $35,000 at Haze Nightclub at Aria Resort & Casino, causing MGM Resorts International to fall under investigation.
